Breakfast at Lincoln’s Waffle Shop, Washington, DC

A great little diner in Washington.

I manage to find the most off-beat places, and my husband sometimes questions it, and other times, just goes with the flow.  This morning we found ourselves sharing eggs, bacon and waffles at Lincoln’s. It could only be more perfect with real maple syrup (yes, we’re spoiled and love the real thing). The waffles were just the right thickness to have some substance but not be overly heavy.

There was a constant flow of people in and out while we were there.

This is a cute place, pretty bare bones when it comes to decor, but it works as a diner and the menu is reasonable by Washington, DC standards.

Enjoyed in 2012.
