
Considering myself lucky to have friends and loved ones who go on adventures with me, like this one: guest chef David Santos of Louro NYC was in Toronto cooking up new takes on traditional Portuguese fare at the Drake One Fifty. A 4-course prix fix dinner. It was Drake One Fifty’s 6th Guest Chef night and we used our membership in Amex Front of the Line to get us in.

When we finished this amazing dinner, full of dishes we simply piled in the middle of the table and shared among the four of us, the chef visits our table and we discuss his keen interest in food and the Portuguese influence on so much of the food we consume today.
